Salutations, Henchmen!

It has finally happened! Your Overlord has finally received a recommendation from one of you for a woman crush that actually suits my fancy! Don’t get me wrong; I have appreciated all of your suggestions thus far, especially from those of you who have…erm…unique tastes. Any Overlord who’s worth their salt knows that amassing personal information for blackmail purposes is an essential part of maintaining a strict hold on your underlings. And boy, some of you are really swallowing that hook! Looking directly at you, guy who has been riding HARD every week for Peggy Bundy (don’t worry, your hilariously awkward, Freudian secret is safe with me….for now. Mwahahaha). Seriously though, please keep them coming. Your Overlord appreciates your service to this Evil Kingdom. 

Alright, now that I’ve shamed one of you (Peggy Bundy guy, you know who you are), it’s time to thank one of you (you know who you are) for sending me the following video and reigniting your Overlord’s admiration for a very crushable woman. 

I’m sure you all remember the insanely crushable Jennifer Connelly, since she’s been stealing our hearts for well over 30 DAMN DECADES! But in case you need a quick reminder, allow me to link you to her IMDb, which boasts a long filmography list that shows a diverse range of acting ability. Or, you know, you could just wait to see her in the upcoming Top Gun remake. But if I were you, I simply wouldn’t wait to enjoy this beauty on screen, especially considering everything that’s available. There are even a few instances of all of it being available, if you know what I mean…hehe. Let’s just say many dreams came true for the viewers of her 90’s flicks. Pro-tip: The Hot Spot (1990) and Inventing the Abbotts (1997) are definitely a great place to start if you’re looking to inspire your worship (amongst other things. Hehe). Here’s a particularly memorable scene from the latter to kick things off for you. 

However, don’t be afraid to check out her most recent work as the lead character in the TNT series Snowpiercer*. I’ve actually been watching this series throughout the pandemic and already had my eye towards featuring her as your woman crush but seeing the videos above and remembering her full body of work really sealed the deal. It really reminded me that no matter the year, I’ve never not found Jennifer incredibly attractive. Like a fine wine (or a fine vampire), she only seems to get better with age! Personally, I think she’s as stunning now as she ever was. 

*If, like me, you’re looking for literally anything to binge watch as we ever so slowly emerge from the pandemic, I’d recommend Snowpiercer. I’m halfway through the second season and it’s been a fun ride thus far. It’s very much a corny TNT drama but it’s fuelled by an interesting dystopian premise and the star power of both Jennifer Connelly and Sean Bean.
